Pilot
Very early version of an arcade racing game. The goal is to create a game where the player will ultimately decide on the stats for their vehicles, in a range of possible values, based on a vehicle type loosely based on front traction, rear traction, neutral type driving style.
All vehicles will levitate in a high octane race. There won't be any vehicle to vehicle combat, the goal is to learn the mechanic and the tracts to be the fastest in a global leaderboard.
In the current state the game presents a simple test track and somewhat strong direction for the handling. Systems balancing is not existent and the Fuel system might be removed.
Engine heat is used to increase the vehicle max speed, it increase with the use of boost and drift, while decrease on straight at high speed.
Fuel is not implemented yet, but will give a big de-buff if empty, but the speed will increase the less fuel in the tank.
Soon to come some active abilities, engine damage from overheating, and possibly a drift mini-boost charge.
Art will come only very late in the project, but the test tract will get update soon with some height elevation change. Currently working on having the vehicles not flight off when hitting a little bump.
